The Sawlani Mart was established in the year 1965 at Nagpur district of Maharashtra by A. Sawlani, a humble and hardworking businessman. The name ‘Sawlani’ has been adopted from the family name of its founder. The Group established its base in Nagpur and grown by leaps and bounds, establishing as a modern day supermarket chain.
Starting off as a small, friendly neighborhood store in 1965, the brand has expanded and opened state of the art modern retail stores in India and Abroad. The group owns and manages ‘Sawlani Mart’ supermarkets across Nagpur especially at Mihan Townships like Bloomsdale , First City , Moraj and city center like Manewada…etc. The Moraj and Kukreja branches will be ready to serve customers by the middle of 2022.
The continued growth is a testament to the strong leadership and vison of its current Managing Director Mr. P.A.Sawlani who got more than 40 years of retail experience in India and Middle East. His new initiative “home delivery by e-rickshaw” was a huge success during the recent pandemic time helping the communities to meet their daily needs.
